2 Week outlook for 4-19-11

Posted by mackenzieking on April 18, 2011 at 11:33 PM

The next 2 weeks looks to be unsettled for some, and quiet for others. The places that will be unsettled will be Central United States, through the Mid Atlantic and the Northeast. These places will have storm after storm, and some of these storms will be violent. Currently, we have a storm forming in Plains that will strengthen and make its way in the Mid Atlantic and Northeast for Wednesday. This will be our next threat. This will have the strength to creat some tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail. In the next 15 days, places in the plains could pick up as much as 11 inches of rain!!! While in the south, will only see a measly inch or 2.  Saying that, this means the central plains could have major flooding, while the south could work its way back into a major drought! This will  be a while ride! Have fun and be safe!!
